System Requirements

Before installing PLC Studio AI, ensure your system meets the following requirements.

PLC Studio AI requires CODESYS V3.5 SP16 or later. Earlier versions do not support the scripting features required for the bridge.

PLC Studio AI runs in your web browser. We recommend:

  • Safari (version 15+) - Supported with limitations

Network Requirements

PLC Studio AI requires an internet connection for:

  • AI code generation and analysis
  • Real-time synchronization with CODESYS
  • Account authentication

Firewall Configuration

If you're behind a corporate firewall, ensure the following are accessible:

  • Display: 1920x1080 resolution or higher

Verifying Your Setup

To verify your CODESYS version:

  1. Open CODESYS
  2. Go to HelpAbout CODESYS
  3. Check the version number (should be V3.5 SP16 or higher)

To verify the Script Engine is enabled:

  1. Go to ToolsOptions
  2. Navigate to Script Engine
  3. Ensure scripting is enabled
